Duties:
The Data Warehouse Manager will report to the BREPA Bureau Director. They will be responsible for day-to-day management and oversight of OCFS Data Warehouse and Operational Data Store, including all contracted resources . They will coordinate with BREPA research unit leads to create Data Warehouse contract teams able to support unit work and goals. The position requires a high degree of independent decision-making, and effectively and closely collaborate with NYS OCFS. Requires an ability to work with diverse groups and negotiate competing priorities.
The Data Warehouse Manager’s duties include:
Collaborating with research and program teams to develop Data Warehouse workplans that are responsive to agency reporting and monitoring needs.
Completing and distributing routine reports.
Management and mentoring of contract staff.
Creating and reviewing weekly staff work plans and supervision.
Onboarding and orienting new staff.
Alignment and prioritization work.
Acting as the primary liaison with DW ETL group. Coordinating workflow.
Monitoring Data Warehouse Security and User Supports.
Monitoring the Operational Data Store.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or comparable work/school related experience with an emphasis in human performance technology, training, or a related area.
At least two years of supervisory experience, preferable in a technology-related field.
Proficient with Cognos, Framework Manager, Oracle and SQL required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively, efficiently, and professionally with colleagues and partner agency staff.
Additional Information:
A valid NYS Driver’s license is required.
