Duties:
The eLearning Developer, reports to the Training Coordinator/Supervisor and will be responsible for developing and maintaining eLearning courses, maintaining and/or testing the training database, representing YRI at meetings with the program sponsor, as appropriate, updating Online Help, and assisting with curriculum development. The person in this role will work closely with other project staff and agency leadership to ensure that all training requests are properly fulfilled. The eLearning Developer will carry out all duties and responsibilities listed in detail below.
Build and maintain modern and engaging eLearning courses
Update online help as needed
Map, storyboard and prototype learning experiences
Work with management to ensure completed projects meet users and organization standards and determine the best approach for each request
Work directly with project stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts to develop an effective learning program through eLearning content
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or comparable work/school related experience with an emphasis in human performance technology, training, or a related area.
Familiarity in designing and developing eLearning content in Camtasia, Lectora or equivalent products and creating and updating online help.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with creating storyboards to plan out content and knowledge of learning and development best practices.
A proven track record of high performance managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
Strong organization skills.
Be committed to teamwork and proactively fostering a collegial work environment and have experience working with diverse groups and populations.

Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with proprietary software.
Additional Information:
A valid NYS Driver’s license is required.
